.day 49: goat heads.

Last night I dreamed that I was going out the a movie with my aunt in Salt Lake City. We were driving, but couldn't remember how to get to the theater, so we decided to stop for dinner at a large outdoor bistro/parking lot thing (just east of the Triad Center, for anyone who knows the area).

We were sitting outside, people watching and gazing at fish in a huge aquarium. I looked over toward that street and noticed a goat head on the side of the road. I was thinking that was odd, when: disaster!

A huge earthquake began to shake the ground. The pavement began to crumble beneath us, revealing that the entire city of Salt Lake was, brace yourself, built on a seemingly endless span of goat heads! As my aunt and I were helping to evacuate the screaming masses, I kept thinking, "That is so unsafe! How could they do that? Build an entire city on something so structurally unsound? So irresponsible!"

I find it funny that I wasn't wondering, "Goat heads? Where did all these goat heads come from? Why goat heads?" I was just completely outraged that "they" would develop a large city on something so hazardous. It was so unethical! Ha, ha!

.day 40: of singing heads and gallbladder attcks.

Last night was... eventful. First of all, my dreams this time around are weirder and more vivid than they were with Ladybug. Of the many dreams I had, the most odd was the one were I was nothing but a head and I had to sing to and entertain an auditorium of babies. The babies, however, were still too little to be full fledged newborns, so the were in glass tube of amniotic fluid, cords still attached. Nurses kept wheeling more babies in, and all I could think was, "No more! I can't entertain the babies that are here already!" Crazy...

The second part of my eventful night, was my very first gallbladder attack this pregnancy. I had gallbladder attacks when I was pregnant with Ladybug and boy, oh boy! They hurt! Comparable to labor contractions in intensity and overall unpleasantness. It makes me nervous that I had one this early. I hope it isn't a sign of things to come...

.day 35: dreams.

"They" say that pregnant women have really intense, vivid dreams. It was true for me with Ladybug and it looks like it will be true with Jelly Bean, too.

I had a dream last night that I was 9 months pregnant and started going into labor, but no one would believe me. I kept telling my mom and my husband to call a midwife to come deliver the baby, but they just said, "You're just having false labor. You're not due for another week."

Even though I was walking around in obvious pain, they just wouldn't listen and I started to panic that I would be delivering the baby on my own (I'm a little "crunchy," but I'm not that granola). I kept begging someone to call a midwife to help me, but they just continued to tell me it was too early and to stop being an alarmist.

I woke up in complete freak out mode, with my heart racing at a million miles a minute. It's seems so early for all these pregnancy symptoms, but let the weirdness begin, I guess...

Fun side note: Today I'm 35 days along and have 35 weeks to go. I just found that interesting. ^_^
