Yup. You knew this was coming: I am already growing tired of this new blog look...
I think I may have figured out part of my restlessness when it comes to blog design: I have blog envy.
Yes, I'm not ashamed to admit that I follow/stalk many blogs and that I am often blown away with all the incredible blog designs out there! I just feel mine often pales in comparison...
Of course, another component in the restlessness is that I am often pressured by my OCD-like tendencies to make things "perfect." That, and I'm just a little restless by nature anyway.
In any event, I think it is time for yet another total blog overhaul. It may take some time before this humble little blog reveals its new skin, but just know things are in the works. Wish me luck!

.becoming a mom made me a baby.
I'll be the first to admit, I am perhaps a little overly sensitive.
Exhibit A:
I was the kid with loads of stuffed animals. Too many to all fit on my bed at one time, in fact. My solution? The stuffed animal bedtime roster. Yes. That's right. I rotated my stuffed animals every night so no one would feel left out.
Exhibit B:
In the house I grew up in, we had some tall aspens in the front yard. Every summer, we would get terrible bouts of the "East winds." From my window, I could see the trees being pushed and bent by the wind. I would cry to my mother out of worry for those poor trees. What if they were scared? What if they were in pain? What if?!
Exhibit C:
I once had a complete melt down at girls camp when I saw another girl slowly killing an ant. Complete. Meltdown.
Becoming a mother has made this overactive sensitivity so much worse. Most notably, I seems I can't watch anything without dissolving into tears, especially children's movies for some reason...
Just of few of the movies that make me bawl:
*Stuart Little
*Toy Story
*Toy Story 2
*The Princess and The Frog
*Finding Nemo
*Paulie
*Ratatouille
*Shrek 2
*The Iron Giant
and... {sigh}
* Elmo In Grouchland
That furry little red monster and his blanket named "Blanket" get me every time.
