.one articulate bug.

Here are a few conversation snippets from Ladybug. That kid cracks me up...

To the balloon in the hall:
     *GASP* "Balloon!"
Reaching frantically: "Hold it! Hoooold it!"
Holding the balloon by the string: "Got it! Hello, Balloon!"
Laughs, then to me: "Hold it TIGHT!"

To me, via the baby monitor, when it was supposed to be nap time:
     "Mom? Moooom? Mommy? Mommy?"
I go in to check on her and say, "What is it, Ladybug?"
     "Mommy? Mom?"
I again ask, "What is it, sweetie?"
     "Hi, Mom."
As soon as I tell her it's nap time and close the door, she starts again...
    "Mom? Mom?"
    Quite for a moment...
"Mommy? Ice cream! Mommy?! Mommmmmy! Ice cream!!! Grrrrrrrrrr!" (yes, that was a growl)

A conversation between Ladybug and her dad:
     Hubs: "You're crazy."
     Ladybug: "You're crazy!"
     Hubs: "No, you're crazy."
     Ladybug: "No! You're crazy!"
     Hubs: "You're crazy."
     Ladybug: "You're crazy!"
     Hubs: "You're crazy."
     Ladybug: "YOU'RE crazy!"
     Hubs: "No way! You're crazy."
     Ladybug: ...pauses... "Mommy's crazy!"
Both look at me and laugh.
